Ralph is the chairperson of Taft’s Private Equity practice group. Over the last 20 years, he has represented some of the country’s leading middle-market private equity funds in billions of dollars of domestic and cross-border M&A and recapitalization transactions. During this time, Ralph has lead significant engagements for well-known private equity funds headquartered in New York, Chicago and Indianapolis, among others.
Cara focuses her practice on representing private equity sponsors in connection with the acquisition and divestiture of their portfolio companies. Since graduating from law school, Cara has worked extensively in the middle market private equity space representing sponsors in a variety of M&A transactions and representing portfolio companies in connection with their legal needs.
Michael is chair of Taft’s national Business & Finance group. He advises private equity and venture capital firms in connection with portfolio company investments, acquisitions and dispositions, fund formation and structuring, and securities and corporate law matters. Michael was the chair of a Cleveland-based private equity firm and has served as adviser to, and director of, several private and public companies, including as lead director of a Dutch-based, NYSE-listed private utility company.
